The interview is pegged to the legendary NFL coach's new book,The Art of Winning: Lessons from My Life in Football— and comes as Belichick's relationship with 24-year-oldJordon Hudsoncontinues to make headlines. On Friday, May 9, hours after a report claimed that UNC had banned the former college cheerleader from its football facilities, the university pushed back. In the statement, obtained by PEOPLE, the school said the news — which broke onPablo Torre Finds Out— was "false." Torre, an ESPN broadcaster, doubled down about the school's response regarding his reporting, which he said which was based on 11 sources who provided information to him about behind-the-scenes goings-on at the university. Elsewhere in the podcast, Torre shared another piece of news regarding the couple: Belichick's family is reportedly concerned about the trajectory and end game regarding the relationship. "Bill Belichick's family is extraordinarily concerned about what has transpired," Torre said. "One Belichick family source told me, 'There is deep worry for how detrimental Jordon can be for not just North Carolina but Bill's legacy, reputation — everything he has built and worked for over decades.' " Meanwhile, over the weekend, Belichick looked on from the front row as Hudson competed in the 2025 Miss Maine USA pageant.
